PSA Panama International Terminal is the company that operates and manages the container terminal located at the former Rodman naval base in Cocoli, Arraijan, on the western bank of the Panama Canal’s Pacific entrance.

PSA Panama is part of PSA International’s operations in Europe, Mediterranean and Americas.

With flagship operations in Singapore and Belgium, PSA International is one of the leading global port groups, participating in around 40 terminals in 16 countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas and a workforce of more than 30,000 people.

PSA had its origins in 1964 as Port of Singapore Authority, state entity in charge of regulatory and port terminal operations in Singapore. In 1997 it transformed into a private commercial entity and today its legal name is PSA International Pte Ltd.

PSA’s mission is “To be the port operator of choice in the world’s gateway hubs, renowned for best-in-class services and successful partnerships.”

PSA Panama International Terminal began operations on December 2010 with the reception of iron products and other supplies for the Panama Canal expansion. Container transshipment, import and export operations began formally in 2012.

PSA Panama currently has a workforce of more than 250 people and generates indirect jobs by outsourcing more than 150 jobs.

PSA Panama International Terminal consists of a terminal area of 22.5 hectares (14 ha already developed) and currently offers a 340 m quay and a 450,000 TEU capacity container yard with three quay cranes and nine RTG.
